Want to enhance your well-being, creativity, and sense of community? 
Join us for Art Night in Metro Detroit. 
What is Art Night? It is an evening where we go to a local art venue and look at art, slowly, then come together to discuss. 
This concept is based on the once a year Slow Art Day event created by Phy Terry
Upcoming Dates:
September 26, 2025, Friday 7-8:30pm - Detroit Institute of the Arts - Sign up here on Luma
Museum is free for residents of Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties.
Day of Event:
•   7pm - Meet inside the entrance to pick up list of art works we are viewing.
•   7-7:45 - Look at 3-5 pieces of art slowly–focusing on slow looking and its transformative power.
•   7:45-8:30pm - Meet up at a Kresge Court discuss our experience.
Parking:
• Museum parking lot cost $8.
• Metered street parking using the Park Detroit app.
• Take the QLINE from other parking areas.
